Fall is here and winemakers everywhere are in the midst of a busy harvest season. Here on our beloved Howell Mountain, we took a quick break from picking grapes to announce our highly anticipated Fall Release! This release includes our 2018 Beatty Ranch Zinfandel rated 90pts by Wine & Spirits Magazine and our 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon rated 94 points by Wine Spectator Magazine. Our special Top Zinfandels of the Year 3 Pack is also still available to order on our online store. Our 2018 Old Vine Zinfandel was rated 95 points and was the “2nd Highest Rated Zinfandel of the Year” by Wine & Spirits Magazine. Our 2015 Beatty Ranch Zinfandel was rated 95 points and named"#40 Wine of the Year" on the "Top 100 Wines of the Year" list by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. This wine is very limited and only available to our wine club members and through this special "Top Zinfandel of the Year" package. Supplies are limited, so purchase before we are sold out! "The wines in 2018 from Howell Mountain Vineyards show finesse up front and lead to a good balance of fruit and tannins across the wines. Our 2018 Beatty Ranch reserve zinfandel embraces the spicy characteristics from these old vines - the oldest in the entire appellation. In the glass, the nose bursts with black pepper and Asian spices with deep underlying black cherry cola fruit notes. At first sip, the spice and tannins dominate the palate. Black cherry fruit begins to break-through under a chorus of spices which focuses the fruit. This wine dives deep into the palate supported by bright acid and firm tannins giving this wine ageability for several years." | | | | | |

"In the glass, rich, medium-dark color is exposed with a slight purple hue. On the nose, the wine exhibits a bouquet of red currant and blackberries up front followed by a hint of crème de cassis, dusty undertone reminiscent of the rich, red volcanic soil. On the palate, the wine exhibits well integrated tannins with underlying notes of dark blackberry and black currant fruit. The wine finishes with hints of tobacco and leather along deep, dark layers of fruit and firm tannins which provide structure into the finish, which will allow this wine to age well."

- An email is sent to you within a week of the release showing you the new release wines and the suggested shipment.
- You will be able to add, delete and customize the wine in your shipment as long as you order at least 4 bottles, the minimum for each shipment.
- Your customized wine shipment will be sent to you on the release date!
The Howell Mountain Vineyards Wine Club provides its members with access to all wines released — even our highly rated and limited release wines! Receive 3 shipments yearly (spring, fall and mid-winter) of 4 bottles each shipment containing our newest releases. Benefits of our Wine Club include:
